We met at the mall, as Jackie was kind enough to drive me. (Yes, soooo "jr. high" as Mel pointed out) Andy kept us entertained as we down Starbucks and chatted up a storm. I swear, the time passed so quickly as Mel is truly a delight and just as wonderful in real life as in bloggy land.
After we parted ways it was time for more fun for Andy. Inside the mall was a carousel and Andy got to have his first ride. (And Lindsay, I'm so sorry you couldn't join us today . . . Fred would have loved this!)
It has been such a bonus for me to be able to meet some of my favorite bloggy people while here. So, to my bloggy pals in the Maryland area . . . it's not too late! I'm here for a few more days . . .
Sounds like you all are having fun!
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous about meeting Mel! Totally. Jealous! :-)
I'm glad you're having fun :-). While in MD, if you happen to head down to the PA (Philly) area or Wilm, DE even. Let me know :-).
ReplyDeleteAww, you got dropped off at the mall to hang out with your friend! Sooooo sweeeet, ;) Sorry we missed it!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're having such a lovely vacation!!
ReplyDeleteI know! I felt like I should puff up my bangs with hairspray after you got dropped off at the mall. Wear my Forenza sweater :-)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you picked that picture because I noticed from the first few that my sweat shirt had been hiked up and it made my ass look HUGE.
I am so glad you have family here so we'll get to see you again and again in the future.
Did I miss you? Say no! Say no! I've been completely buried and shitty about checking email or blogs. I think I'm getting my head above water and would move heaven and Earth to see you and Andy before you go. Is it too late? When do you fly out?
ReplyDeleteYour trip sounds like so much fun! How wonderful that you got to meet your bloggy friends and put a face with a name...
