Christmas IS the best time of the year!

Christmas lasted for days and days this year, and what fun it was! We had several different Christmas celebrations to fit in all the parts of the family. Eric, Kari and Ashley came to stay a few days before Christmas. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner and gift exchange with them on Friday nights, then had to say goodbye on Saturday morning. It was so fun to watch Ashley open her gifts. Every item of clothing she received she wanted to wear right then and there. I wish I caught a picture of her in the Elmo pajama bottoms and Mickey Mouse shirt. On Saturday we went to the Order's home to get together with all of our Phoenix and Dallas cousins. It is always so much fun to hang out with this bunch of people who all know how to have a great time and make us feel so welcome and loved!
Brian and I spent Christmas Eve at my parent's house after attending church. We then spent a quiet morning at home on Christmas day, all alone. In the afternoon Brian's grandparents and the rest of the family from Colorado and Baltimore came over, including my parents. Brian's parents arrived from California in the early evening and we all enjoyed a south western themed dinner together. Brian's parents are staying for a few more days, which will be nice.

Did you check out my dad's Charlie Brown and Snoopy pants? Pretty festive and cool, huh?!?!?!All in all it was a great holiday. I really enjoyed having all of the visitors and houseguests that we did and cherish the memories that we made. My hope is that all of you made some wonderful memories this Christmas season as well.
