My Dad is Heading to Arizona!

My Dad will be transferred to a facility here in Phoenix and the caseworkers between both hospitals are trying to make this happen on September 20th! Mind you, he will be at the new hospital for several weeks, maybe as many as six, but at least he will be nearby and my Mom will be able to go home everyday and prepare for his eventual homecoming. The Phoenix hospital is about 30 minutes from our home. So, anyone who would like to come out and visit with my Dad is welcome to stay at our house. Reserve early, as space is filling up! Brian and I went to the new rehab facility yesterday and were very impressed with all they have to offer, their certifications, and their quality of care. It will be a great place for my Dad to adjust and learn new things, and how to do old things.

My Dad is free and clear from this bout of pneumonia, however, now he has some type of intestinal infection causing him a few problems like fever and lack of energy to name a few. Please pray for him to fight and end this current illness quickly so that he can get back to a full rehab schedule. And continue to pray for a total and full recovery for him so that he can get back to all of the activities (and house projects) he did before. And pray for strength and patience for all of us.

Oh, and when we get the new address for my Dad I will share that, or, things can just be sent to their home address and he will get whatever is sent just a day later!
