. . . and sometimes more patiently that others. Yesterday our birth mother's doctor stopped all medications that are holding off her labor. She is still in the hospital, and still having contractions. Now we just wait for her to hit full on labor. I don't know if she will remain in the hospital until she gives birth, or if at some point they will discharge her to wait it out at home.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.
It's kind of like Christmas Eve when you were a kid and the anticipation of Christmas Day was almost too much to bear. Only with this, Christmas Day never seems to get here. Each day we wake up and it's still Christmas Eve. It's sort of like Christmas Eve meets Groundhog Day (the movie).
And to distract myself I'm starting to get my classroom set up. It's not really working.
oh the excitement!! I can imagine it's hard to concentrate
ReplyDeleteChris, I am so excited for you! Good luck with the distractions!:)
ReplyDeleteDebby
I can't even imagine the anticipation. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer or at least find a better distraction!
