By Wednesday not only was Andy still sick, but he was sporting this lovely rash. The culprit? A severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics.
Random ramblings of life in our household . . . and our journey through infertility and our arrival on the other side as we live life with our precious little boy brought to us through the gift of open domestic adoption.

See for Yourself
In my last post I wrote about how I'm the last person on the planet to discover making no-sew fleece blankets. Here is my first attempt.
Pretty cute, huh? It's super soft too! I tossed it onto Brian after I took it out of the dryer and he didn't want to give it up. Now I have to put it away until Christmas.

Isn't this awful?!?!?!?
Poor boy is literally covered from head to toe. I knew that a "Woody" blanket would cheer him up, so that's why I made the second blanket. However, the "Woody" blanket is only a single layer, not two. This is my boy tonight, Thursday night, showing off his new favorite blanket.
And here you can see that his rash is starting to subside. My poor boy.

Oh poor little guy with the rash. That looks terribly itchy and uncomfortable. I hope it subsides today. Yes adorable blankets, and you aren't the last person on earth - I am! I have never sewed anything but a button my entire life.
ReplyDeletePoor kid! I hope he gets better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the blanket. Poor Andy. Glad he's feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThat is terrible! My mom had a reaction like that once. Poor little man :(
ReplyDeleteLove the blankets!
ReplyDeletePoor Andy looks so pitiful, but that Woody blankie looks like it sure did the trick! Good job Mom!
I love that he has his own chair.
