Yesterday, in addition to being the first day of fall, was also Andrew's 2 month birthday. To celebrate we went to the pediatrician for his 2 month check up and vaccinations.
I've known that Andy has been bulking up. After all, he has been eating 4-5 ounce bottles every 4 or 5 hours for the past month. (When he was a month old he was almost 6 1/2 pounds). He has long outgrown his preemie clothes and is now outgrowing most of his newborn clothes. The 0-3 month stuff is starting to fit.
Well, yesterday Andrew weighed in at a hefty 11 pounds 3 ounces. He is now on the growth chart, for the first time. He came in at the 25th percentile for weight and the 5th percentile for height. He has made all of his 2 month developmental milestones and the doctor was absolutely thrilled, given his adjusted age of just 1 month.
But, the truth is in the pudding, as they say. Here he is on August 22nd . . .
And here he is on September 22nd . . .
Any guesses on when he will pass up the bear?
