This first product is actually something that my mom discovered and passed along to me. I'll admit, when she first gave me a can I thought she was completely crazy, but much to my chagrin, this was once again a time when my mom really did know what she was talking about! Do you love pancakes or waffles but hate to make a mess in the kitchen? And are you basically lazy? Then this is the product for you. Basically the batter is in a can like whipped cream. How crazy is that?!?!? You just squirt it onto a hot griddle in whatever size or shape you want, and presto, instant pancake. Simply delicious! Brian even declared them the best pancakes he has ever had . . . next to Cracker Barrel that is. We plan to keep some around the house, especially with all of the house guests we always have. We also intend to bring some on our next camping trip. Check out http://www.batterblaster.com/ for more info. Oh, this marvelous product can be found at Costco.
OK, this next product is not yummy and not for those who are easily grossed out. In fact, a little known character flaw that Brian has is that he is completely, irrationally grossed out by feet. Even baby feet. But that is another story . . . back to the review. A friend at school talked up the Ped Egg so much that I had to try it. After just one use years of grossness vanished from my feet, and has been kept at bay, for weeks. I swear, it made my feet as soft and smooth as baby's feet! I've since decided that there is absolutely no reason for anyone in Arizona to have gross feet. People pretty much wear sandals, flip-flops and open backed shoes all year long here. I may even consider carrying around an extra one just to hand out to nasty feet offenders as I come across them. Brian even tried it and had to admit it is simply wonderful. There is one, teeny, tiny, sort of disgusting part of using the Ped Egg. After use one must open it up to empty the shavings. I wasn't properly prepared for the first time I did this. It was pretty horrifying. It looked like I was dumping out about 1/4 of a cup of coarse sea salt. So, since you are now prepared this won't be as gross for you. You can find these dandy little items at drugstores everywhere.

Thanks. I will try them. Aaron made me pancakes for dinner last night and complained about what a mess it made (a bowl and pan??) go figure. That sounds easy though.
ReplyDeleteLaurie D.
I have the ped egg and I do adore it. Nothing compares to getting a professional pedicure done - but this sure is the best thing I've found so far.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I can't get the batter blaster in Arkansas! BOO!
I'm a Krusteaz (just add water) fan but I like idea of spraying batter out of a can. I think we will eat pancakes frequently. When we make pancakes, we always make too much batter and then feel obligated to eat too many pancakes. I'll have to see if our Costco carries them. Thanks for the recommendations!
ReplyDeletequestion, I dont have calluses but have a few dry areas, would this help or is it for callouses? (sp) sorry. allknames@gmail.com Kelli
ReplyDeleteThat pancake thing is the coolest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteI've been a proud owner of the Ped Egg for about 3 months and it really does work. But, like with anything else it only works if you use it. Thanks for the reviews.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try that ped egg, but I didn't know if it was a scam. Glad to see it works! I'll pick one up soon!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if DH would go for the pancakes in a spray can, because he LOVES making his own pancakes. BUT I have never heard of the ped egg, and I think I must go get one right now!!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try the Ped Egg. Now I will have to!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure that I can get behind the pancake thing, but I will think about it! :)
My stepmom gave Mitchell a can of the pancake blaster. It was so easy that a 12 year old could do it. Plus the taste of them were delish! Just bought a pediegg on monday. Here in Cali with the flip flops it is a lifesaver. But ewww.. pretty gross when you dump out the skin.. I thought it looked like finely ground parmesan cheese! Miss you! Brenda.
ReplyDeleteOwww, DH would LOVE that pancake batter stuff! I'm going to have to go to Costco and try it out!
ReplyDeleteJ and I were talking about the ped egg just the other day. I have HORRIBLE feet not matter how many times I file and scrape them. I'm getting me one today!!
ReplyDeleteDanicka here.
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!!!!! Batter in a CAN!!! I HAVE to try it :)(and the foot egg thingy for Matt ;)
I heart my ped egg! Just in time for sandal season. I personally think that they are not charging enough for this little miracle invention!! Oh happy feet!
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA!!! the emptying out of the PedEgg made me laugh ~ because i had the same thing happen. it seemed insane to be grossed out by my own *ahem* shavings... but i was!
