Embryos on Board!

This morning we arrived at the doctor's office for about as much good news as could be expected. All 3 embryos were still going strong. Two of them are 6 cells that the doctor is very happy with. Once is a 4 cell that he wasn't as optimistic about but is just along for the ride. Oh, we also found out that they did assisted hatching on all three embryos.

I got my little valium dose about 1o minutes before my first acupuncture session started. Afterwards while talking with Brian I was getting a little emotional, but I remained calm and relaxed.

My transfer went really, really well, in fact, according to the nurse it was a "beautiful transfer". Even the acupuncturist commented on how quick it went. I don't have pictures of the embryos as the embryologist won't allow it and she doesn't like to do anything to further stress out the little embryos.

After that I had another acupuncture treatment while I rested for about half an hour. Then the nurse came and sat with us for a while to give us discharge instructions and to chat.

So now I am home, and on house arrest until Thursday. Brian is home with me today, but the rest of the week I am on my own.

And so now I wait, and hope, and pray until my beta test on the 20th. Thanks so much to everyone for being so supportive. It has really helped!
