My mom and I have a good natured, ongoing argument about whose dog is the best. Of course I say it is my sweet Molly Pie and she says it is her Cinderella Pye. My mom also likes to insult Molly as to the limited capabilities of her intelligence. Now, I will always agree that she is naughty, after all, she is a beagle and it just can't be helped. And by the way, she is plenty smart! However, what she lacks in manners she more than makes up for in overall sweetness. I always like to point out how mean her dog is to my dog. My Molly is very friendly and just wants to get along. Cindy is a big bully and steals Molly's toys and cookies.
Anyhow, Cindy is staying at our house this week because my mom and dad are not at home. This video is representative of what happens at my house every day that Cindy is here. I'm posting it here to torment my mom by sharing with the world, or just the 3 people that read this, how her beloved dog behaves. It is less than 3 minutes long, and if nothing else you may enjoy the catchy tune. Which I now cannot get out of my head and it is 2:00 in the morning.
And I will mention that I really do like Cindy, she is a very sweet, affectionate and gentle dog.
Poodles are pretty ugly too :)

ReplyDeleteI'm more of a cat person myself, but it's apparent that beagles are much better than poodles.

ReplyDeleteI have never told you this-- but beagles are my absolute FAVORITE dog. Ask anyone I know. I am dying to get one but my building doesn't allow pets : ( But we will definitely get one someday. When I see one on the street I must stop and pet it. They are so cute!!! You're so lucky!!!

But excuse me, Molly the burgle is such an actress! She won't mind. She eats inappropriate things, steals from guests, she ruined my leash and chewed my mom's favorite flipflops. She leaves her "waste" all around and sometimes reclaims it. I don't like her breath. Her ears are little and not pretty and curly and wavy like mine. Her tail is long and plain, while mine is pretty and fluffy, and I can carry it up high so pretty when I prance. I don't smell or shed, and am so dainty. Sissypye and Brian thought I was okay til SHE came. I was here first. They are my girl and boy. Molly leaves perfectly good treats all over the house then pouts when I find them and eat them. Well? They drive me wild! I should be able to play with all the toys I wish because I don't ruin them, just amuse my beautiful self. Then I nap.
